Battery Monitoring System

BMS-0812 is a ' Battery Monitoring Solution' complete with a GUI to monitor multiple battery cells. Charging decisions and 'cell and battery' health calculation can carried out using customizable algorithms. The monitoring system has been designed on an open source Linux platform using QT environment with a mySQL database engine.

SamaQ - Battery Equalizer

The SamaQ Equalizer is an active charge balancing system for improving the efficiency and extending the battery life of batteries connected in series.

Using an efficient switched capacitor model instead of dissipative balancing model, this system is capable of maintaining a 40mV difference between batteries connected in series.

Auxiliary Power Unit Controller

The Auxiliary Power Unit Controller is based on agv’s RPC1210MG series of Electronic Engine Governors. Conventionally diesel engine governors sense and regulate the speed of the engine with respect to the load subjected to the engine. Of the various types of governors being used today, electronic governors have proven to be the best solution. Electronic governors have a few inherent advantages over mechanical governors:

  • No moving parts.
  • Less weight and bulk.
  • Can be mounted at a convenient distance away from the engine.
  • Acceleration, deceleration as well as load can be controlled easily by modifying the engine set-points.
  • A PID control can be easily implemented to provide rapid and accurate response while avoiding overshoot, under damping and oscillations in control action.
  • All the critical engine parameters which are monitored for the governing action can be logged for future references.
  • Communication can be established with other onboard electronics.

Drishti

Drishti© security camera solution is an advanced surveillance system with built-in intelligence for video analytics. The user can specify the area of interest using and image processing engine will focus on that area only. Motion detection algorithm will trigger the recording of the video to local memory. All video scenes can be stored internally or transferred over the Ethernet using appropriate compression (H.264) and encryption (AES-128bit).
